project AVA’s 3rd Annual Halloween “Bootique”

project AVA is proud to be hosting our 3rd annual Halloween “Bootique”. From September 25 – October 20th, 2017 we will be collecting new and clean, gently used Halloween costumes, size toddler through youth size large.

Our collections will be in Edwardsville, IL and Decatur, IL to provide to children in need in these communities. Our goal is to reach children who would otherwise not have a costume, and make their day just as enjoyable as the rest of their peers. After we’ve collected the costumes we’ll drop them off at local schools, early childhood and parent education centers, and food pantries that we have identified as having a need. They will then be distributed to the children as the school or organization sees fit. This keeps the identity of the children and families private.boo3

There are two ways to get involved!
1. You may drop off new or gently used costumes to one of the locations in your area listed below.
2. You may make a monetary donation to project AVA, we’ll purchase the costumes and distribute them accordingly. Costumes typically run anywhere from $10-$25.
